The Bradians Trust, along with the Brady Photographic Archive Committee, are pleased to announce that arrangements have been made with AJEX for a banner to be provided for The Brady Clubs, so that old Bradians can march under the banner in memory of the Jewish service personnel who served in the British Forces. You can wear your parents’ / grandparents’ medals on your right breast. Children from the age of 12 are welcome to march.
We plan for this to be an annual event so please give your support.
All marchers must be in possession of a ticket prior to attending. Please go to https://www.ajex.org.uk/85th-annual-ceremony-parade for details. If you arrive without a ticket you will go through additional security checks and must have two forms of ID (at least one with your photo).
After the March, everyone is invited to Sandys Row Synagogue, 4A Sandys Row, Spitalfields, London E1 7HW at 4.30 p.m. for 5.00 p.m. where a tea-reception will be provided. A memorial service will be held for those ex-Brady members killed in action during the two World Wars and other military actions, along with those 134 men, women and children killed on 27th March 1945, at Hughes Mansions, Vallance Road many of whom were associated with Brady.
If you cannot make the March at the Cenotaph, you can of course still attend the tea and ceremony at Sandys Row.
Please RSVP for the tea at Sandys Row Synagogue for security and catering purposes to Mikeyershon@gmail.com.
